TRANSFERS Moussa N'Diaye did not play against Kairat Almaty. Officially, he was not 100 per cent fit, but there may be more to it than that. According to transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the left-back is keen to return to Schalke 04 and is applying the necessary pressure to make a move possible.
Schalke had already indicated earlier this summer that they were keen to sign N'Diaye on a permanent basis following his successful loan spell last season. However, at the time, the club was either unable or unwilling to meet Anderlecht's asking price. Following his fine performances against Hammarby, Anderlecht were also keen to keep N'Diaye.
The Senegalese player, however, prefers a move to the Bundesliga.
