GAMES Anderlecht now know who will oversee their European opener on Wednesday evening. UEFA has appointed Spanish referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea to officiate the match on 16 September at 9 p.m. The 39-year-old Spaniard will be assisted by compatriots Iker De Francisco and Iván Masso Granado. Adrian Cordero will take up the role of fourth official.
The video refereeing team will also be entirely Spanish. César Soto Grado will be the VAR, with Alejandro Muñiz Ruiz serving as assistant VAR. Kick-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at Lotto Park.
