OTHER Danylo Sikan's strong start to the season has not gone unnoticed. The Anderlecht striker has once again been called up to the Ukraine national team. The 25-year-old forward has already scored six times this season, including five goals in the Europa League qualifiers. Sikan has collected seven caps for Ukraine so far, but had been waiting since November 2023 for another selection.
Thanks to his prolific start at Anderlecht, he now gets another chance with the national side. Several other Anderlecht players will also be preparing for international duty in the coming weeks. Lukas Ambros has been called up by Czechia for the first time. Ali Maamar and Tawfik Bentayeb have been selected for Morocco, while Artur Reabciuk will represent Moldova. Kristian Aasgaard has received a call-up for Norway and Jan-Carlo Simi? is set to report to Serbia. Anderlecht will thus see a sizeable part of its squad depart for their national teams.
