GAMES Last night, Serbia suffered a last-minute 1-2 loss to Greece in Belgrade. The winning goal was scored in the 94th minute by Douvikas, after Tzolis (formerly of Club Brugge) had equalized Zivkovic's early opening goal midway through the second half.
For Serbia, Mihajlo Cvetkovic made his debut in the starting lineup alongside players such as Tadic, Jovic, and Milinković-Savić. He was substituted at halftime. Dejan Joveljić also saw playing time for the home team, coming on as a substitute in the 71st minute. During the 2019–2020 “coronavirus season,” while on loan from Frankfurt, he played five more matches for Sporting and scored once before the season was cut short. He is now a prolific striker for the Seattle Sounders in the MLS. For Greece, Kos Karetsas was in the starting lineup.
