INJURIES Several online media outlets are reporting that Giulian Biancone will be sidelined for longer than initially expected. The Frenchman is already certain to miss the matches against Cercle Brugge and Dinamo Zagreb. Biancone picked up an injury against KV Mechelen, but he is still not training with the group. Anderlecht resume play in just over a week with an away game to Cercle.
A busy run of fixtures lies ahead, with four league games (Cercle, Gent, Westerlo and Club Brugge), one cup tie and three European matches (Zagreb, Bialystok and Salzburg). Bruno does have a replacement for Biancone in Andrew Omobamidele, while Hey is also available again after his injury. It remains to be seen, however, whether the Dane can win over the Portuguese coach. It is also still unclear whether Biancone will be fit again for the match following the away trip to Zagreb.
