
YOUTH While the players who stayed behind in Neerpede enjoyed a week off, RSC Anderlecht's internationals were spread across Europe and Africa in action. In total, ten first-team players amassed no fewer than 1,511 minutes during this long international break. The forwards, in particular, stood out. Danylo Sikan found the net for Ukraine, while Mihajlo Cvetkovic also scored in Serbia's colours.
Tawfik Bentayeb, meanwhile, came on twice as a substitute for Morocco. Another positive for the Brussels club: Ali Maamar took another step forward with Morocco by starting for the first time in the win over Gabon in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying. Thelo Aasgaard also featured in Norway's matches and came on as a substitute three times. Among the most heavily used internationals is Oleg Reabciuk, who clocked up 345 minutes. The Moldovan left-back, who is still waiting for his first official minutes in an Anderlecht shirt, played four Nations League matches for Moldova. He started each time and experienced a mixed campaign, with two defeats against Slovakia, a draw against the Faroe Islands and a win in Kazakhstan. Lukas Ambros, finally, made his debut for the Czech national team. The midfielder featured in four internationals, all ending in defeat against Spain, Croatia and England twice.
