Lots of players offered to Anderlecht

Anderlecht-manager Herman Van Holsbeeck received the last few weeks a lot of offers from top players. "A Japanese international wanted to play here", stated Van Holsbeeck.


"He would be very interesting for our merchandising and publicity. But he has to play then, and we can't guarantee that."

Anthony Le Tallec, the 20-year-old French talent of Liverpool, was offered again last week. Also Lua-Lua, the player from Congo who plays for Portsmouth was offered. And also Jean-Claude Darcheville, the 29-year-old player from Bordeaux wanted to move to Brussels. But the financial aspect was a big obstacle.
