Proto: "I did not make any mistakes"

Goalkeeper Silvio Proto blundered again, like in the game against Genk. That way, RSCA lost another two points. After making a few good safes, he caused an unnecessary penalty. Though the keeper claims not making any mistakes.


"Espartero's effort made a weird bounce", explains Proto. "The ball jumped off my chest and I dived to catch it. I didn't touch the player of Brussels. But referee Johan Verbist gave a penalty. I didn't make a foul", claims the goalie.

Though the TV-images prove Silvio Proto wrong. He clearly caused the penalty. "It's very sad. This was a great game to prove myself. The referee makes a mistake and that has consequences for me", said Proto.
