Herman Van Holsbeeck, the new manager of Anderlecht, sounds very ambitious on his first day at work. "Anderlecht has to play 3 years out of 4 in the Champions League", he says.

"My primary goal will be to improve the communication. The internal communication as well as the external communication have to be renewed. There are lots of journalists that are walking in and out of this stadium. That will turn out bad in a period of crises."

"Also working with the youth is very important to me. We haven't got a big budget like other teams in Europe. So we have to be creative to keep competing with them. Working with the youth and help them where ever we can really is very important. It's a good sign that Deschacht and Kompany are now first team players. In a couple of years we have to compete with well-known education schools like Ajax and Auxerre."

But Van Holsbeeck doesn't want to sacrifice everything for football. "I will be at the club daily from 8 am till 8 pm. A couple of years ago, when I was manager for RWDM, I spoilt my family and that was a big mistake. I won't make that mistake again."
Van Holsbeeck already divorced once, and now he has a new relationship.
