4 players at Africa Cup in January

Anderlecht are facing a problem in January, as four key players will probably be selected for the Africa Cup. Sofiane Hanni (Algeria), Kara Mbodj (Senegal), Hamdi Harbaoui (Tunesia) and Frank Acheampong (Ghana) will be called up on national duty for their respective countries. This means Anderlecht will need to find a solution for the period from 21 January 2017 until 12 February 2017. Read more »

FIFA allowed Matias Suarez to play for Argentinian side Belgrano, however Anderlecht filed a complaint against the player. They claim four million Euros transfer fee. The deal has finally been completed; Anderlecht found an agreement with FC Nürnberg and René Weiler is joining Anderlecht.
