INTERVIEWS - OPINIONS Anderlecht and Olympiakos are challenging each other in the 1/16th finals of the Europe League on 18 and 25 February. Olympiakos lost their first points in the Greek competition last weekend. How strong are they?
Olympiakos won their first seventeen games, this weekend they only obtained a 1-1 draw. Wouter Corstjens, Belgian defender playing for Panetolikos, can witness how strong they are.
"They win most of their matches without any difficulties. It is a very complete team, Luka Milivojevic is one of their key players. They have strenght and power in the defence, Domingues is a great player as a number ten and Fortounis on the right wing is one of the biggest Greek talents. On top of that, Brown Ideye is an amazing striker."
However, Corstjens claims Anderlecht should not fear Olympiakos. "They are favourites if they can keep up the same level in the Europe League as before the winter break. I know they are having a hard time in the Belgian competition now, but I think they can beat Olympiacos."
