Dos Santos: deal with Barcelona, player doubts

Celta de Vigo, Espanyol, Fiorentina and Sevilla are the teams Anderlecht have to compete with for the services of Jonathan Dos Santos. Anderlecht would like to convince Dos Santos with their Champions League participation.


Jonathan Dos Santos is also not convinced Anderlecht is a good choice for him. He's afraid the Belgian League won't be attractive enough for him to earn a place in the Mexican national team. Further, he's also concerned about the cold Belgian weather. His father though is certain Anderlecht would be the best option for him.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht also came to an agreement with his club Barcelona. The Mauves would pay 2,5 million euro immediately. If Dos Santos performs well, an additional 1,5 million will be paid. This would bring his transfer fee up to 4 million. Dos Santos would be the first Mexican to ever play for Anderlecht.
