Interested in Bastien?

TRANSFERS A number of websites brought the news that Anderlecht are considering a return by Samuel Bastien. They refer to the Italian website L'Arena as source. However, based on their reporting, it is premature to conclude that Anderlecht is really interested.


In a longer article on Chievo, Bastien is mentioned in a few sentences. It says that Club Brugge, Anderlecht and Standard Bastien have added him to their wish list. The fact that Standard wants to bring Bastien back to Belgium, could already be read a few days ago.

Bastien exchanged Anderlecht for Italy three years ago. After a season with Avelino in the Serie B he went to Chievo in the Serie A. This season he collected fifteen places in the starting eleven and fell in six times. The central midfielder scored once.
