INTERVIEWS - OTHER The Pro League had hoped to have a final decision on the competition tomorrow. The National Security Council threw a spanner in the works. A decision on football matches was not made from a political angle, so the vote is again postponed.

Tomorrow there was therefore a vote at the General Meeting to definitively end the competition, but that will not happen. "The National Security Council's agenda was tough, there was no place for football," said Federal President Mehdi Bayat, "The General Meeting will continue, but we will ask to postpone the vote again."

"The Board of Directors wants to inform all clubs about the current situation. We will propose to the General Meeting to postpone the vote on the possible termination of the competition to a later meeting. It will normally take place on May 4," said CEO Pierre François.
