TRANSFERS Anderlecht, Wolverhampton and Fabio Silva have agreed on a loan move for the striker to purple-white. That reports Wolves-watcher Liam Keen of Express & Star. Wolverhampton just want Silva to extend his contract with them. Tomorrow they hope to see white smoke.

Talks are currently underway to extend Silva's contract, which runs until 2025, by a season. Wolverhamton, however, want to add two extra seasons.

Anderlecht would not have to pay a loan fee to hire Silva, but they would take over his wages. That amounts to around 2 million euro per year.

Meanwhile, another young striker of Wolverhampton, Chiquinho, injured the cruciate ligaments of his knee. It is not yet clear whether his absence would have an impact on Silva's loan.
