Raman: "Preparation is more intense"

INTERVIEWS Benito Raman is one of the players hoping for more playing time under the new coach. In the Walloon La Dernière Heure he speaks out about the new coach: "The preparation is much more intense than last year, but the group seems to cope well. Peter Verbeke told me that Mazzu counts on me.


Raman actually came to Anderlecht to make a lot of playing minutes, but since December last year he acted more as a joker. "The result of a tactical choice by Kompany," he said. "Still, I was disappointed of course."

With another striker on the way, the same could just happen this season. "But I will fight for my place. I don't regret my choice for Anderlecht either. It's about time that purple and white win another prize. The young group should not serve as an excuse. The only thing this group might lack is guts," he concludes.
