INTERVIEWS In Het Laatste Nieuws, Union-CEO Philippe Bormans revisits the departure of Felice Mazzu to Anderlecht today. "We are still very disappointed in Anderlecht," he said. "Ajax paid for Schreuder and Genk for Vrancken. The same rules applied there."

"We wanted Felice to make that step, but couldn't work it out with Anderlecht. We were entitled to a sum," says Bormans. "If you want to get rid of your neighbours' coach like that to save 100,000 euro... You expect more class from Anderlecht. With Felice's assistants, who go with him to Anderlecht, we found an arrangement within half an hour."

And so the court will now have to rule. The proceedings that are underway are against Mazzu for resigning. "It's now a case against Felice and that's a pity," said Bormans, who is mainly targeting Anderlecht. "I have heard Felice, but he said it was beyond him."
