Verbruggen: rather Burnley than 1B

TRANSFERS Het Nieuwsblad writes this morning that Bart Verbruggen is interested in a transfer to Burnley. He could become first goalkeeper there. A first bid, said to be around 3 million euros, was rejected. Burnley would now increase their bid to reach an amount between 5 and 7 million euros.


Anderlecht sees Verbruggen this season as a regular goalkeeper for the U23 team in 1B and as a replacement for Hendrik Van Crombrugge in the first team. But the English Championship would appeal more to the Dutchman.
