Trebel rehabilitated by Mazzu

OTHER Adrien Trebel, either you are pro or you are against. But the fact is that he is still a player of RSC Anderlecht, a well-paid player. Felice Mazzu brought the Frenchman back in the selection and there is little doubt that he will be starting against Oostende.

Initially, Mazzu could count on Josh Cullen, Marco Kana and Adrien Trebel for that position. Cullen meanwhile followed Kompany to Burnley and the question is whether Kana can handle the many games that follow. If so, it is good to be able to count on Trebel again, who could be swapped for Kana in the busy month of August.

The fact is that Trebel is only under contract for one more year at purple-white and he also costs the club handsomely in wages. Since his arrival in January 2017, until now, he has already cost the club 15 million euros. Add to that the signing fee and Trebel has seen his bill swell by 17 million euros. A serious amount if you know that RSC Anderlecht has been paying serious attention to their finances in recent years.
