TRANSFERS The transfer of Bart Verbruggen is on hold for the moment, the reason being that RSCA would ask too much for their young goalkeeper according to English side Burnley. Anderlecht would ask for a sum of ten million euros including bonuses and a percentage on the resale of the player, according to the Belgian press.

The English club has even decided to look in other directions while hoping for a resumption of negotiations for the goalkeeper whose footwork is highly appreciated. RSCA feel they are in a strong position in this matter as the player has a contract until June 2025.

The player's state of mind could be impacted by this transfer as he already had Burnley in his mind. On the Purple side, we are waiting for the situation to settle down before activating the tracks to replace him: Maxime Delanghe and Gonçalo Tabuaço are tracks evoked by the press, the Belgian goalkeeper wants to come back to his training club even if he has contacts with several Dutch clubs.

Bart Vebruggen trained on Thursday but in a gym to avoid any injury that could derail his transfer, which is still on the cards despite this break in negotiations.
