U23 wins easily against Beerschot in friendly game

GAMES The U23 delivered a good performance yesterday as part of the preparation for the new season. Beerschot went down with 6-0. A few days ago they also played against Antwerp (0-3), but this time the team was reinforced with a few players from the first team, such as Murillo, Stroeykens and Colassin.


The score of 0-6 should not be taken as a reason to draw conclusions, however, given the very weak opposition that Beerschot put up. Robin Veldman took advantage of the match to gradually establish a fixed system with a defence consisting of three players: Lapage, Masscho and Butera. Murillo and Bouchouari took care of the wings this time. Leoni and Engwanda played centrally and Colassin, Duranville and Stroeykens formed the attacking triangle. Vercauteren was in goal and had a quiet evening.
