Trebel out until after winter break

INJURIES Bad news for Anderlecht and Adrien Trebel. The French midfielder is sidelined at least until after the winter break.


Trebel fell hard on his shoulder in the first leg of the last qualifying round of the Conference League after a vicious tackle by a player of YB Bern. The first reports were rather pessimistic and that scenario has now been confirmed.

Anderlecht communicated via the club channels that Trebel has gone under the knife and is out of action at least until after the winter break. Adri' had fought his way back into the starting line-up this season, but now has to watch from the sidelines.
