OTHER Anderlecht have sent Ait El Hadj to the B-selection, Het Laatste Nieuws reports. The midfielder refused to join the Futures against Lommel last weekend. Ait El Hadj wants more opportunities with the first team and is not reluctant to leave.
Just like last year, it threatens to be a difficult year for Ait El Hadj. Two years ago, he was one of the discoveries in the first team, but just like last year under Kompany, he didn't get to play much under Mazzu. When he did play, in Estonia for the Conference League, he didn't leave a good impression.
Anderlecht couldn't appreciate his refusal to play with the Futures and sent El Hadj to the B-selection where redundant players are. Other young first team players like Sadiki, Ishaq and Angula did join the Futures last weekend. Of course, this doesn't need be a permanent decision. El Hadj himself is still counting on a departure (loan), but it seems there would not be much interest at the moment.
