"Heerenveen is the right place for me"

TRANSFERS - INTERVIEWS Heerenveen this afternoon introduced Antoine Colassin as its newest player. He looked a bit timid, but knows very well what he wants. "Heerenveen is a good club. For me it's good to be here. I want to score as much as possible."

Why did you choose Heerenveen?
"I think it's the right place for me to develop myself and make minutes. It's a good club. For me it's good to be here."

What did you already know about Heerenveen?
"I already spoke with Michel Vlap, who comes from Heerenveen. He said it's a good club."

With Sarr and Van Hooijdonk, Heerenveen currently has a good striker duo. Do you know them?
"Dutch friends in the Anderlecht dressing room told me they are a good duo. That's good for the team and the club."

What are your strengths as a player?
"I think I have good running ability, both offensively and defensively. I also score quite easily and like to fight for the team."

Have you spoken to the coach yet?
"Yes, I spoke to him on the phone, so that's okay. He talked about the team, the tactics and what's most important to me. That's a good way to learn and develop. I'm happy with that."

What are your goals?
"I want to score as many goals as possible and finish as high as possible in the league."
