INTERVIEWS According to Thomas Trebel, the RSCA player's brother, there is too much talk about the French midfielder's contract and Marc Coucke's desire to sack him because of his relationship with Mogi Bayat.

He added that these were easy shortcuts for him to justify their choice of selection. He recalled that nobody forced the RSC Anderlecht management to sign this contract.

There was also much talk about his injuries, but again his brother found an excuse for the player by talking about bad luck. Adien Trebel also went through several changes from T1 and extra-sport sideline activities that he had to fight against. All this has frustrated him, but he has never doubted himself.

Trebel has been labelled a vulnerable player since his arrival at RSCA and has already cost Sporting €20 million, according to press reports. An extension to his contract would incur costs that would have to be written off and it must now be assessed whether they are useful and cost-effective.

His brother assures that Adrien loves RSCA, despite all the problems he has been through. They know very well that the salary of the extension will be much lower than the one he has now. He thinks there is a way to find a deal that satisfies both parties.

Thomas Trebel concludes by saying that he wants clarity as soon as possible so that he can concentrate on the purely sporting side as soon as possible.
