"Esposito currently not fit"

INJURIES Sebastiano Esposito is training with Anderlecht again, but playing is not yet immediately an option. Still, it is not out of the question that he will be back in action soon. "Sebastiano was injured and now has to get fit again. Then I will assess him objectively," coach Brian Riemer said.


"Esposito is not fit at all at the moment. When he left (to Italy, ed.), he was injured. He has only now started training again. Currently he is in the hands of the medical staff," Riemer told his press chat.

Unlike Hoedt, Esposito's return to playing is not out of the question. "As long as he is part of my team, I will watch him and assess him objectively. But his first priority now is to get fit and be ready to train. After that, we will see what level he reaches."
