OTHER It seemed to be a bad joke but it is painfully true, Jean Kindermans is/will be unstruck at RSC Anderlecht. Not only are supporters expressing their displeasure, former players also do not understand the board's choice: "Anderlecht is saying goodbye to its DNA".

According to Anthony Vanden Borre, there is more than the financial behind Kindermans' dismissal: "The current board wants to break all ties with the 'ancien régime'. Kindermans was the last one left. They already let Frank Vercauteren and Vincent Kompany leave in the past, people who have the real Anderlecht DNA in them, those men are Anderlecht, just like Kindermans. The board is now completely saying goodbye to that".

"Jean is tactically very strong"

Olivier Deschacht also doesn't understand the dismissal.
"Jean is tactically very strong and passionate about field training. Had they taken the time now to explain to him that 'morderner policy', you could safely take him into that new story. Anderlecht is his life, the passion he put into his work is phenomenal."

"Jean was the driving force behind my choice of Anderlecht"
Leander Dendoncker chose RSC Anderlecht as a 14-year-old thanks to Jean Kindermans.
"I had other options but the way he explained the plans and how he saw my future made my choice easy. Without him I wouldn't have gone to Anderlecht. He didn't give many training sessions but when he did, they were top-notch. We still talk about that to this day mer the ex-Anderlech players in the national team."
