GAMES - 1B The barrel seems completely finished at the RSCA Futures. In the sixth match of the Champions Playoffs, they suffered their fifth defeat. Just like last week, title contender Beveren was too big. Then it was 0-4, tonight 4-1.

Futures coach Guillaume Gillet started with Lucas Stassin on the bench. This allowed Simion Michez (photo) to play in the central striker position. Remarkable: he is actually a flank attacker and had already played in the back position.

Yet it seemed to work out well, because shortly after halftime Michez put the team ahead. Nils De Wilde provided the assist. The home team, who are in full contention for the title with RWDM, responded with a double substitution. Not much later, top marksman Thiemo Barry equalized again.

After the equalizer, Beveren pressed on and ran out to 4-1. And so this is already the fifth defeat in a row for the RSCA Futures, the third with four goals against.

In the closing stages, Nail Moutha-Sebtaoui, a 17-year-old defender, made his debut. He replaced Henrik Bellmann, who had to leave the field injured. At first glance it appears to be a serious knee injury.
