Basile Vroninks (19) is leaving Anderlecht and has signed a contract with KV Kortrijk until 2019, with an option for an additional year. The right-back was frequently included in the matchday squad this season, but after fifteen years he is saying goodbye to the purple and white. Vroninks had already announced his departure on Instagram, where he thanked Anderlecht and described the club as a “home.” After turning professional in 2024, he played 45 matches for the Futures. RSCA Futures lost 2-1 at Patro Eisden. The Futures had long been in with a chance of victory, as they were leading 0-1 until the hour mark. After that, Eisden were awarded two penalties, both of which were converted, the second after a video challenge by the home side. Anderlecht have signed 22-year-old left-back Cheikh Koité. He has put pen to paper on a two-season deal with an option for an additional season and will join RSCA Futures. Koité arrives from Football Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas 01 (FBBP 01), a club competing in the third tier of French football. Koité moved to France last summer, where he made 31 appearances for Bourg. According to multiple sources, former Anderlecht forward Robbie Ure is well on his way to making the move from Sirius to Sevilla. The transfer is reportedly worth 9.2 million. Algerian winger Willsem Boussaid (20) has signed a two-year contract, with an option for a third season, with RSCA Futures. Boussaid, who operates on the right flank, arrives from LB Châteauroux. Anderlecht have announced the transfer of Nathan De Cat to Hoffenheim. The midfielder, who is almost 18, had already made clear for some time that his preference was for the German club, where he passed his medical yesterday. The Pro League has revoked the decision that reserve teams could not be relegated. From next season the RSCA Futures can therefore drop to the First Amateur Division, so given this season's poor showing this is something to take into serious account during the transfer window. With this move the Pro League avoids a €12 million fine, although the top clubs were unhappy about it. Reserve teams could indeed be relegated, but then another reserve side would have to be promoted so that the total number of reserve teams would be preserved. Read more »

17-year-old Noah Kalonji has extended his expiring contract at Anderlecht by two years. The defensive midfielder, who is representing Belgium at the U17 European Championship, is now tied to the club until 2028. "Noah is a player with a modern profile who, thanks to his game intelligence, physical strength and build-up qualities, can play in several positions in midfield," the club said. As expected, 51-year-old Frenchman Antoine Sibierski has been appointed Anderlecht's new Sporting Director. He will take the reins of sporting policy across all professional teams and will also oversee the scouting and performance departments (first team, Futures and Women). Sibierski played as an attacking midfielder for Auxerre, Nantes and Lens, and later in England for Manchester City, Newcastle and Wigan. RSCA Futures closed a difficult season on a high with a 5-0 win over Olympic Charleroi, the bottom club in the Challenger Pro League. The Futures thus finish a disappointing fourteenth, although they are still ten points clear of second-bottom Club NXT. Thanks to the league's rules, Anderlecht was never in real danger of relegation — relegation would have required another U23 club to go up, which did not occur. Under pressure from a ruling by the Belgian Competition Authority, the Pro League has adjusted the rules for U23 teams in 1B. From next season they will also be eligible for relegation. This season, however, remains unchanged. Any U23 side that is relegated must be replaced by another U23 team promoted from the amateur divisions, ensuring that four development teams remain active at the country's second professional level. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Anderlecht has sounded out former player Cheikhou Kouyaté (37) about strengthening the RSCA Futures next season. Anderlecht had reportedly also approached the Senegalese last summer. Kouyaté could add plenty of experience to the Futures. After two losses, the RSCA Futures were looking to break the losing streak on Saturday during their away match at Lokeren. Against a team that can still aim for the top 6, they played solidly but the defense let them down. Leading with fifteen minutes left to play, the Futures conceded three goals in ten fateful minutes, setting the final score at 4-2.
