Riemer: "We really want to keep Stroeykens"

INTERVIEWS At his press chat yesterday afternoon, Brian Riemer was also asked a question about Mario Stroeykens. The 18-year-old youth product still has a contract until the end of this season and did not sign yet. "Jesper is working hard on it," Riemer said. "We would very much like Mario to extend."


"We would like to keep Mario," Riemer is clear. "He's a great player. He's a player who can play multiple positions with us. He has a lot of qualities, things we want as well."

"Mario only has one year left on his contract and would very much like him to extend it. That is a matter for Jesper and Mario's agent. We really want to keep him and hope Mario will commit to the club for longer."
