Manager Eriksen: 'Christian is staying at Manchester United'

According to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Christian Eriksen's manager has stated that the Danish midfielder will stay at Manchester United. The manager also mentioned that there has only been informal contact with Anderlecht. Martin Schoots, Eriksen's manager, revealed that there was a lot of interest in his client from clubs in the United States, the Arab world, and Turkey, but Eriksen wants to remain in Western Europe with his family.

Now, it seems that a departure is off the table as Eriksen is confident he will get enough playing time at United. Speculation about Eriksen's potential move to Anderlecht has been ongoing all summer.

Schoots confirmed that there was informal contact with Anderlecht, but nothing more than that. He also denied that Ajax reached out this summer, although they did in January.
