INTERVIEWS - OTHER Porto, Anderlecht's opponent tomorrow in the Europa League, is in a difficult period with three consecutive defeats. As a result, coach Vitor Bruno's position is under pressure, especially if they also lose at Anderlecht. The team has also won only four points in the Europa League and therefore urgently needs to take points. Nevertheless, coach David Hubert continues to see Porto as a big club. Hubert expects a dynamic and attacking opponent. “But I have a plan ready to counter their strong attack,” he said.
Players such as Sardella and Augustinsson are absent, and the decision to play or rest Kasper Dolberg is yet to be made. Hubert stressed the importance of managing Dolberg's good form and replacing players if necessary. Thus, the coach appears to be rotating against Porto.
Although Hubert regrets the absence of Sardella, the coach is focusing on the available players. In doing so, he also paid extra attention to Thomas Foket, who will thus in principle start tomorrow: “Foket already has a lot of experience and must build on his positive performances,” he echoed.
