1B - GAMES - 1B The RSCA Futures suffered their tenth defeat of the season this weekend. In a goal-rich game, similar to the earlier encounter in Liege that ended 3-3, Anderlecht now went down 2-4. Despite Purple-White taking the lead twice, they could not hold on to the victory. Coach Jelle Coen indicated that his team had good control of the game for an hour and even seemed to be the better team.

“But the defensive naivety was fatal to us,” Coen said. He expressed frustration with the way his players played the last thirty minutes.

However, Coen remains optimistic about the future. “We still have crucial games to play. We are convinced that we can manage athletically, despite a difficult season in which the pressure is palpable. The new league system has reduced that pressure. In 2024 we were playing in 'survival mode,' but after the turn of the year we have become a closer team.”
