Bertaccini has already undergone medical examination

TRANSFERS - OTHER The transfer of Adriano Bertaccini is in its final stages. Sacha Tavolieri reports that the clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of €5.3 million, including bonuses. Bertaccini underwent his medical tests this morning.

The STVV striker was expected in Ghent at 9:30 a.m. for his medical examination. Het Belang van Limburg noted that he was absent from STVV's training session this morning.

According to Tavolieri, Anderlecht pushed hard last night and this morning to avoid any unwanted surprises (i.e., another club hijacking the deal). This morning, an agreement was reached between the clubs. 

Anderlecht wants to have the transfer completely finalized by Friday. In that case, Bertaccini could already play against Cercle Brugge on Sunday.
