RSCA Futures lose to Kortrijk

1B - GAMES - 1B The RSCA Futures started the season with a 1-3 defeat to Kortrijk, one of the title favorites. The Futures took an early lead, but after a narrowly awarded penalty, the West Flemish side overran Anderlecht.


Anderlecht, with several first-team players starting, took the lead after fifteen minutes through Kanaté after a strong start from the visitors. Ambrose converted a narrowly awarded penalty in stoppage time, and when Kortrijk quickly made it 1-2 after the break, they pressed on to extend their lead. Ambrose scored shortly afterward to make it 1-3, sealing the Futures' fate. Newcomer Ntanda came on for Anderlecht.
