Young Nigerian signs with RSCA Futures

1B - TRANSFERS Babatunde Akomolede, an 18-year-old defender, has joined Anderlecht. Coming from Broad City FC, a football academy in Lagos, he joins the U23 team. Akomolede has signed a contract that runs until 2028. The young player has previously distinguished himself as captain of his academy and impressed during the 2024 Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, where he was named best player of the tournament. His playing style is characterized by aggression and decisive long passes, combined with a powerful run.


In addition to this signing, Anderlecht also announced in mid-August the loan of Senegalese player Pape Aliya N'dao (18), who joins from Young African Promises in Ghana.
