Brugge opened the scoring through Acker before the first half. Cvetkovic equalized before halftime. But just before halftime, Kanaté was sent off, making the Purple & White's task difficult.
Nevertheless, the Brussels side looked set to have a three-pointer for a while, as Cvetkovic scored his second of the afternoon just after the hour mark. Fifteen minutes before the final whistle, Lund Jensen made it 2-2.
