Özcan and Ilic at Futures: "Good opportunity to prove themselves"

1B - INTERVIEWS Yasin Özcan (photo) and Mihajlo Ilic both played for the Futures last weekend. This raised questions among some fans. Were neither selected for the first team? At his press conference, Besnik Hasi explained.


"Yasin and Mihajlo hadn't played for a while. This was a good opportunity for them to get some minutes, because the Futures played their match after ours," said Hasi. "Moreover, it was against Club Brugge, a good opponent. They were the same age as us."

"In this match, they were also able to show us that they deserve a place in the starting lineup," said the coach. "Physically, they're at their best. They're no longer behind."
