1B - GAMES - 1B The RSCA Futures lost 1-0 away at Lierse yesterday. The only goal came after twenty minutes of play. Yasin Özcan (photo) started the match but was sent off after 57 minutes. Even with ten against eleven, the Futures were unable to avert defeat.
In a dull match, Lierse scored when Futures goalkeeper Haentjes failed to clear a shot from Daguin. Matuta took advantage and scored the rebound. Ntanda came close to equalizing before halftime, but Lierse goalkeeper Vroman made the save.
After the break, the first chances for the Futures came through Özcan and N'Dao. Shortly before the hour mark, Özcan pulled the emergency brake on Adinany: red card and penalty. Adinany himself took the penalty, but he shot wildly over the bar. With an extra man, Lierse then held on easily.
After this defeat, the Futures remain just above the relegation places.
