1B - TRANSFERS Lilian Vergeylen spreads his wings. The 19-year-old central midfielder is leaving Neerpede after five-and-a-half years to join FC Knokke. He signs a one-and-a-half-year contract with the club from the top amateur division.
Vergeylen moved to the Futures in 2023. In his first two seasons he played regularly and chipped in with the odd goal. This season proved tougher: he only featured twice, both times off the bench. At the coastal side, Vergeylen hopes to get more playing time.
