YOUTH - TRANSFERS Anderlecht has announced the arrival of Brandon Madjo. The 15-year-old defender joins from AA Gent and has signed a professional contract until 2028. Madjo is a left-footed center back.
Madjo is from Brussels and played for Union and, until recently, AA Gent. He has already played twenty games for the U14s this season. Despite his young age - he turned 15 a few weeks ago - he is already 1.80 m tall.
“Brandon is known as a calm, disciplined, and eager to learn boy,” is how Anderlecht describes him. “He is a defender who is comfortable on the ball, strong in build-up play, and likes to infiltrate with the ball at his feet. In addition, he has good game insight and dares to take the initiative from the back to break through lines.”
He also questions the return of Romelu Lukaku and/or Youri Tielemans, which is still hypothetical at this point: “Of course, we recognize their quality, but would they be effective in this chaos?”
