GAMES - INTERVIEWS More than anything, interim head coach Jérémy Taravel will remember the victory over Zulte-Waregem: the purple-and-white found the net 4 times and took the win, but it wasn't pretty.
The Frenchman was particularly critical of the poor second half: "The reasons for that performance will have to be analyzed. I asked them not to drop off, but that happened nonetheless." Taravel also pointed to the state of the pitch, without wanting to use it as an excuse. He also agrees there is still a lot of work to do to improve the team. Finally, the interim coach praised Thorgan Hazard's outstanding performance: "he justified his role as a false nine." As for his own future, he says he has not yet discussed it internally.
