1B - OTHER According to Sacha Tavolieri, Anderlecht has sounded out former player Cheikhou Kouyaté (37) about strengthening the RSCA Futures next season. Anderlecht had reportedly also approached the Senegalese last summer. Kouyaté could add plenty of experience to the Futures. The player is currently without a club; his last team was Ahmed SK in the Turkish second division.
Kouyaté played more than two hundred matches for the purple-and-white and became champion four times after first being loaned to KV Kortrijk. He then moved to England, where he played for West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
