1B - GAMES - 1B RSCA Futures closed a difficult season on a high with a 5-0 win over Olympic Charleroi, the bottom club in the Challenger Pro League. The Futures thus finish a disappointing fourteenth, although they are still ten points clear of second-bottom Club NXT. Thanks to the league's rules, Anderlecht was never in real danger of relegation — relegation would have required another U23 club to go up, which did not occur. RWDM are paying the price of that arrangement this season.

Even so, the fourteenth place is not something to celebrate. On the pitch the Futures were usually competitive, but they too often came unstuck because of mistakes born of inexperience. Considerable investment has been made in the Futures, with players such as Keita and Ntanda brought in; Anderlecht will likely need to strengthen the squad again if it wants to avoid real problems next season. Anderlecht led at halftime through goals from Vroninks and Kanaté.

After the break Van de Ven, Tajaouart and De Corte also scored.

Anderlecht: Seghers, Vroninks, Keita, Wola, Akomolede, De Ridder (sub: Sarr), Mujangi (sub: Ojea), Kanaté (sub: De Corte), Van de Ven (sub: N'Dao), Tajaouart, Onia-Seke (sub: Ede Eriyo) Absent: Sternal, Nga-Kana, Dao, Engwanda, Angely
