INTERVIEWS With a standing ovation, the Anderlecht crowd yesterday said farewell to Yari Verschaeren. "It really moved me," he said after the match. "I was emotional all day. I've spent three quarters of my life here.

It's a shame I'm leaving without a trophy." "I want to thank the supporters for seeing me off like this. Of course I'm sad that my time here is over. I always said I wanted to leave with a prize. Where Verschaeren will play next season, he does not yet know. "There's a 90 percent chance I'll go abroad. Where exactly, we'll see soon. I don't know that yet." Alongside Verschaeren, another youth product, Nathan De Cat, also appeared to be saying goodbye to Lotto Park. "I think he realises he'll also have opportunities to leave," Verschaeren said of his 17-year-old teammate. "He had a great season and everyone knows there's a lot of interest in him. It's now up to him to make a decision."
