YOUTH The return of Jean Kindermans and Frédéric Delooz to the helm of the RSCA Academy is beginning with yet more reshuffling. Just a month after the support structure devised by Tim Borguet was put in place, Anderlecht is once again revising the organisation of several youth teams. Borguet is leaving the club. Stability remains elusive.
The first change concerns the U18s. Roel Clement is taking charge of the U18s, replacing Patrick Dimbala, whose future in Neerpede now appears uncertain. This repositioning of Clement fits in with the Kindermans logic: bringing experienced coaches back into direct contact with the players, rather than placing them in overarching roles.
At U14 level, Simon Hanssens is departing. He will be replaced by Arnaud Sutchin Djoum, who had originally been lined up as assistant coach of the U18s. Kindermans and Delooz want to redeploy certain key profiles in age groups that are considered strategic for technical development.
Frédéric Delooz, Head of Coaching, wants to return to the foundations of Neerpede: continuity, expertise and an identity rooted in player development. All teams will soon be back in action too. Monday 27 July marks the start of the season for every team in the Academy. By then, further adjustments are not out of the question: Kindermans has never hidden his strict demands when it comes to structural coherence.
