1B - YOUTH In their second preseason match, Anderlecht's U23 team secured an away victory at Helmond Sport. The young Purple & Whites won 0-1 thanks to an early goal by Pape Aliya Ndao.
The RSCA Futures got into the game quickly and immediately imposed their pressing and technical quality. The Brussels side took the lead in the 17th minute: a long throw-in was poorly cleared by the Dutch defense, after which Ndao finished coolly.
Helmond Sport tried to respond before halftime, but their attempts lacked precision. In the second half, the home team came close to equalizing on several occasions, including a one-on-one chance, but Seghers remained flawless.
