GAMES UEFA has appointed an Italian refereeing crew to oversee Thursday's European match at Lotto Park. The Anderlecht–PAOK match will be officiated by Simone Sozza, who will serve as the head referee. The Purple & Whites enter this second leg with a one-goal lead, following their 0-1 victory in Thessaloniki.
It's a favorable starting position, but by no means a comfortable one against a Greek team known for its intensity and ability to turn matches around. In a packed stadium, Anderlecht will try to secure its European qualification by relying on the solid organization it displayed in Greece.
PAOK, meanwhile, comes to Brussels determined to make up for the first leg and will have to give it their all.
