TRANSFERS RSC Anderlecht is keeping its eyes open for midfield reinforcements and is following the situation of Yassin Belkhdim. That is at least the rumour doing the rounds. The 24-year-old Franco-Moroccan central midfielder is currently under contract with French side Angers SCO until mid-2028, having established himself as a valued player there over the past few seasons. Purple and White, however, are not the only club interested in the Moroccan U23 international.
There is also concrete interest from England, with Burnley, and from Spain, with Rayo Vallecano. The most serious suitor at this stage appears to be Werder Bremen. The German club is considering lodging an official bid, although it first needs to offload a player to create some financial breathing room. Angers are said to be asking around 5 million euros for Belkhdim.
For the time being, Anderlecht have not yet made a formal offer, but the club continues to closely monitor the file.
