TRANSFERS As expected, César Huerta's adventure at Anderlecht has come to an end. The Mexican winger has signed for his former club Pumas UNAM. Huerta joined Anderlecht in the winter of 2025 and made a promising start. His second season was almost entirely blighted by injury.
As a result, he only returned to action at the very end of the campaign, though he still managed to earn a place in Mexico's World Cup squad. After the World Cup, Huerta was nowhere to be seen in the matchday squad. He made 38 appearances for the Purple and Whites and scored five goals.
